David Yacoub is the founder and owner of The Works Lawn Service, a multi-award-winning landscaping company serving Round Rock and the greater Austin area. With over five years of professional experience in the landscaping industry and a lifelong passion for lawn care, David brings both technical expertise and hands-on knowledge to every project.

Before entering the industry professionally, David spent years perfecting his own lawn, maintaining it to golf-course standards using reel mowing techniques. This early dedication laid the foundation for his deep understanding of turf health, soil conditions, and precision lawn care.

David specializes in grass cultivation, weed control, and advanced lawn treatments, including the use of growth regulators and moisture management programs. His expertise also extends to landscape design, irrigation systems, and outdoor enhancements that improve both functionality and curb appeal.

He holds both a Texas Applicator License and an Irrigation Technician License, ensuring all treatments and systems are handled with the highest level of professionalism and compliance.

Under his leadership, The Works Lawn Service has earned recognition as “Best of Round Rock – Yard Service of the Year” for multiple consecutive years, reflecting his commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Originally of Arab descent and born in Honduras, David now resides in Texas with his wife and three children. In addition to running a successful landscaping business, he has prior experience as a restaurant owner, which has strengthened his focus on customer service and building lasting relationships.

David is passionate about serving others through his work, community, and church, and takes pride in helping homeowners create outdoor spaces they truly enjoy.
